Is yogurt ok to give to my 12 week old?

Is it ok to put yogurt in my pups food?? I read that it helps with gas and thought I would give it a try. I just read not to give milk or milk products..

It's fine as long as they don't have any dairy allergies. Give him/her a little bit at first to make sure it won't upset their tum... you will be so happy about the relief from gas!

also give the fat free, plain flavored kind of yogurt...their little stomachs do best without all the fat and the artificial flavors. One to two table spoons...

Chloe gets 2 table spoons of natural plain yogurt (does have all the fat) as a "treat" after her meal (once a day). She loves it; her little bum shakes as soon as I take it out of the fridge.

We chose not to mix it in - as we don't want her to become a picky eater. She's 17 weeks now - but I think we started when she was around 12 weeks old .

I heard it was good too and I tried it...you'll know if dairy won't work. The gas got worse and his stools were loser...
