Boxer Pal
Hello everyone...
Zeus came home 2 days ago and is eating and drinking fine. To me he looks a bit under weight, but I don’t know if that is because I am use to “bigger breed” puppies. He is showing some ribs and is thin in the tummy (you can see him in my gallery).
The wife works for the post office so she stopped there to show everyone Zeus, while she was there she put him on the Postal scale and he weighs 10 lbs 8 oz. To me in hand, I don’t think he feels that heavy, but it is a Postal scale. Is this weight ok for an 8 week old pup?

I would say that that weight is definately more then enough. You should see ribs on a boxer and his tummy being thin is a good sign, you don't want a bloated belly that can be a sign of worms. All boxers grow at different rates and you will really not know how big he will be until hes done growing and that is around 2 years old growing up and until 3 years old bulking up. Enjoy your puppy, he is absolutely adorable.
