First of all, Luka is too damn cute! LOL and he cracked me up when he let out those barks the first time, then kinda looked around wondering where they came from! :LOL:

He does seem to be testing his dominance, especially at the end there--which is fine--if he gets too out of hand, Ruby will correct him. This is how puppies learn the boundaries--he will push it, I am sure, until he is told it is unacceptable by Ruby or another puppy. Even if Ruby is naturally submissive, she will get to the point where she will let him know enough is enough. But overall, I think it is normal puppy play and exploration. :)

Thanks Jill, he does seem like he's pushing it, its the bit at the end that makes me laugh where he looks like he's been sent to his crate! :)

Thanks for sharing! That's exactly the way Drake and Moe play, except Drake weighs 65 lbs and Moe weighs 7 lbs.:) Too cute!

This video is actually a great representation of a pup learning bite inhibition. Those breeders who sell there pups too young should take a look at this video so that they can understand why a young pup needs to be with other pups so that they can learn boundries. This lesson will be learned with your pup once your girls run out of patience and it will probably only take one time for the girls to set him straight. Just make sure that if he asks for it, and they correct him, that you don't punish the other for not taking his crap anymore otherwise you will undo the balance of their "pack". Now of course if it's actual fighting then that's another story but he will probably just get one lil nip and that will adjust his attitude. BTW, they are just tooooo cute...

I agree - I didn't see anything too aggressive. Luka is very cute! I loved the end when he walked to his crate.

Samson and Hannah look pretty aggressive when they play - they love to growl, bark, and bite at each other's legs. Since they are both so vocal, it sounds a lot worse than it actually is.

looked fine to me also. if anything ruby will let luka know when enough is enough. ruby is just letting luka get his energy out so nap time will be nice and quiet.:)

Watching that Louise was like watching Lola & Zeb play it honestly was :)
I think because Luka & Zeb are more vocal it just sounds worse than it is. I used to panic that Zeb was too rough with Lola but have eased up a little now and rarely intervene.

The bit where he walks off to his crate is like he's saying 'My work here is done' :LOL: You can almost see him swiping his hands.
