Super Boxer
I agree with the jumping but Porter just loves it sometimes! If I am in an area with soft grass then I will let him do that maybe once a week or every other week and only a few times at best. He sometimes jumps on his own though. hehe.
When I take him on a walk it is just as much for my benefit as it is his. It gives me a chance to clear my mind, or ponder things that have been bothering me. It gives me a bit of exercise as well. We walk for about 20 minutes and I let him take lots of breaks to sniff, pee or check out the frogs near the pond. He likes to try to squish them. Poor frogs. He is great at walking on lead and is excellent with other humans and dogs and I give credit to all the walks we take. It's great training.
Oh I should say that we walk more then play fetch b/c he hasn't figured that out yet. LOL He runs to the ball/stick/frisbee/whatever sniffs it, bats it a bit and leaves it there. Good Luck!!
