We have a 1yr 3mos old female and she has to be the pickiest eater I have ever seen. She will go days without eating if she does not like what you put down. All the foods we have tried so far are Wellness, Eukenuba, Iams, Nutro, Chicken Soup for the Dod Lovers Soul, Solid Gold, Raw Diet... and a few others.
We tried everything....putting food down for only 15 minutes, I try to make like I am eating it before I put it down....
We finally found something she will eat and its Science Diet can food, sometimes the kibble too. My question is ...Is this bad for her?

Yes! It is bad food. I would try the Wellness or Solid Gold again and add a little chicken broth to it. Molly is also a picky eater and this works for her.

Do you crate your baby? If you do, I'd suggest putting her food in the crate and locking her in there. That way, she'll concentrate more on the food, without distractions. Clara was a VERY picky eater for a long time until I tried that. Now she eats very well. She's on Wellness and she loves it.

I will try mixing the other food with chicken broth and see if that helps. What kind of chicken broth do you use...low sodium I would assume?
We used to crate her, but now she has full run of the place. I would rather not go back to crating her if at all possible.
We just figured at least she is eating something....

I use low sodium no fat chicken broth. I get it at the whole foods
because all the ones I have found at the regular supermarket have onion in them.

From what I have learned from reading Tulsa-Dan's post, you are teaching her to become an even pickier eater! Dogs won't starve themselves. Put her food down and leave it there for however long you do. If she doesn't eat it, pick it back up she will learn that she needs to eat when you tell her to. Do a search for "picky eater", I am sure you'll find a ton of info! Good Luck on it, I can't imagine having this problem! Niko is a food hog!:D
