It's getting to be that time of the summer where I dog sit for my friend's 2 dogs (boxer & lab mix) which made me remember a 'game' her boxer plays. If you're sitting or laying down, Gracie will kind of sit/stand over you and when you try to get up and tell her you're getting up she growls and howls (quite comical). Thankfully she informed me otherwise I might have been sitting on the couch all week lol Anyway THAT got me thinking...do any of your boxers do this or something like it?

My two love stalking each other. They will run away from each other and then one will lay down. The other will start walking up slowly and when they get near the other, it is off to the races. They can do this at the park for an hour easy. They also do it in my apartment. It is the funniest site!

Syxx loves to play "aggravate my brother so he will chase me", (This is funny) and "growl, pounce,& attack daddys shoe strings" and then there is "Nascar" (where he runs around in circles so fast the he is constantly on the verge of wiping out) , next we have "Bee, Butterfly, & any thing else that flies Chase" and finally there is good ol fashioned fetch. :)

my 2 love to play "keeps" its where one has the ball (brandy) and then tigger tries to get it off her and when he gets close she moves away, they both play this with us as well - its very cute and they are both very vocal about it as well.

they both "play catch me if you can" with each other both in the house and outside - of course brandy does much more of the running and its tigger who has to catch her.

they are great time wasters and a constant source of amusement i could watch them play for hours, the funny little things that they are, my life before owing boxers was so boring in comparison

Abbie loves to 'pounce' on Brady. She hunkers down and everything just like a cat would and then she runs and pounces at him. She also likes to chase flying things. I have to watch her like a hawk when we are at camp b/c if she sees a bird flying overhead, she will follow it wherever it will take her, including the river...found that out the hard way  Thank God it is shallow enough she could walk the whole way across but she doesn't really care for water.

They both like to play the keep away from the humans game too when you are trying to catch them or get something from them.

Buckeye will bring me anything that squeeks, wait for me to pick my hand up then he gets a head start down the hall, turns around and waits. I throw it he gets it, runs around the island then brings it to me:)
Steeler likes to get an ice cube and throws it in the air, chases it down the hall, brings it back to their carpet and eats it (what left of it:LOL:)
They are both very playful and even play with their food before eating it:)

Elvis loves the scared game! He like to get a toy and pretend to to be scare of it, jackhammering it and chucking it in the air.

He does it for ages, i am sure he see's me laughing and plays up to it!

Hobart and Nestle love to wrestle and chase eachother which is great for me because nothing wears them out like a good game of chase :) When my sister and I play catch, they both have to be right in the action (like monkey in the middle). Hobart will stand by the person with the ball and wait for them to throw. Once the ball is caught, he runs full speed at the catcher and then the game starts over. It's like his own made-up relay race. Hilarious to watch

My two love to tease each other with toys, Lola's the worse. They get a toy and keep walking up to the other then running away kind of like chase me. They play this all the time and if Zeb's not out or not playing Lola does this with me too
