is there a boxer phenomenon in ohio?

I live in Cincinnati which is about one/two hours from Portsmouth just straight down Route 52... (I grew up in New Richmond lovely small river town) I lived in Portsmouth for a bit and I think we discussed that before on this site. Didn't you have issues with your neighbor calling animal control or am I thinking of someone else??

I live in Genoa. About 30 minutes give or take from Toledo. My mother also lives in Toledo and has a female boxer, Molly. It would be great to get together and have them play. Any ideas?

Bay's mom, I would love to get together sometime with a boxer play date. Unfortunatley i cant take Mindy out in public yet as she is only about 5 wks old (yes i said 5 wks, LONG Story!! BYB was calling it nice, but i just couldnt leave her with them!) ANyway, Once she gets all her vaccines and frontline, id love to get together, maybe i can learn a little more. Also if you have aol instant mesanger i can be messaged at Vlfmlyfsx or yahoo messanger at Pionushaven01. Would love to talk boxer. Im going to try to figure out how to downsize the pics a little more so i can post some pics of our lil princess

nope, i haven't had any more issues. but since riley died, the two dogs can't go out together anyway. mac my brother's mastiff, has to be monitored when he goes outside, he loves it out there. but is a little people aggressive, but he is will be leaving the house in the next months. my boxer brutus, used to be left outside while we were gone, but we no longer do that. which he loves, he don't like the heat to much at all. so he gets to sleep on the couch while we are gone.

i think we told you that we would be leaving portsmouth, but we are not. my husband had found a new job here, and since we are expecting we decided not to leave family.

Another Ohio Boxer Lover here....only we are between Akron and Canton....we live less than a mile from a dog park if anyone else is in the area though!

Buckeye and Steeler are 3years old. Buckeye weighs 74lbs and Steeler weighs 72lbs. Both are brindle and very stocky They are both rescues from Allen County. Does Mika do well with people and other dogs? Are there any good/safe dog parks in this area?

To all Ohioans (and our neighbors)

Wow, there are so many of us in Ohio. Unfortunaltey we are all scattered! Just to toss an idea out there. But why don't we all find a meeting place somewhere in the middle (a dog park maybe) and have an ohio type boxer bash here in Ohio (and of course neighboring states are welcome to join in the fun). Just a thought! Id love to meet some of you boxer moms and dads. And to see my little Mindy interact with other dogs like her (her brother is a black lab mix). She is so small now, maybe 4lbs if that! So We would have to wait till she is a bit bigger. And done with her baby shots and all that good stuff. But i think it would be great to get together, put faces with some of the people we are talking to here.
Just a thought!!
