Completely Boxer Crazy
Just to add a bit to this post. We don't really know under witch circumstances this is going on so it is a bit hard to respond. Putting her in a crate might help as they usually will not soil their den but if she is in there too long she will go when she has to and will then get used to laying in a dirty crate. If you say she will pee 1 hour after going out, it may very well be because she can't hold it longer. I would suggest bringing her out more often.

Make sure when you do bring her outside to praise and give her a treat and use a cue word. She will see you are pleased. If you catch her going inside, do a loud AAh-Ah (upbeat voice not yelling) no more, all it will do it startled her and she will stop peeing then nicely bring her outside, so she can finish her pee than praise, treat! Don't worry she will get it.

Definitely look into bell training. Search no this forum too for really good tips people have written about in the past.

Keep us updated

Boxer Insane
Being a foster home, I have house trained quite a few boxers. I must say it is more them training us to their schedule! Then when we become consistent, they can learn to depend on us and wait for us!foolicon

She's still young and you are still learning her schedule. The last foster I house trained was seven weeks old and I wrote down her going out schedule. It helped me learn her patterns quicker.

Almost 400 boxers dumped into rescue in Florida this year alone and so far we haven't met one that can't be house trained! There is light at the end of the tunnel!:D

Good luck!

Charli is now 6 1/2 months old, and still he does this from time to time.

Sometimes he holds for 8 hours without a walk, sometimes he does it @ home even when we get him out every 3-4 hours.

at this point im mopping every night and steam cleaning carpets weekly.

I have a 100% reliable 18wk old puppy, and I will offer you the key to my success. When she potties or poops outside you have to make her think that she did the greatest thing ever. When she goes inside you can't yell, or make her think that she did something wrong, you just have to scoop her up and take her out, then we she does her business you need to praise, treat and play, let her know that you are happy with her. I have a dog door so it is easy, but the bell thing doesn't seem that hard.

These dogs really want to please you, if you let them know that they are making you happy.

It's all about routine!

Like Mkull as well....

Our Dexter is now 14 weeks old and I can't remember the last accident he had in the house. We have found that a VERY religious routine, lots of praise, and treats with your puppy is a gaurantee for quick pottie training. The down side....you sacrifice your sleep, set your alarm clock for weird hours in the night. Eventually it gets longer and longer each week. Have set rules and limit feeding before bedtime, work time etc. Dexter eats when we eat and has the same bed time as us. I use the same rules on my furbaby as I due my skinbaby!
He will also ring the bell or sit patiently by the door and quietly whine until we come.

i feel the frustration

gabe is 5 months old. he has been great with crate training, but lately he has been regressing. up until he was 4 months old, he had very few accidents in the house. but in the last month, he's been going to the bathroom as if his control has gotten worse. #1 and #2. so i feel the frustration.
