I'm sure a lot of you have your own homes and you use (or not) pesticides on your lawn. I live in a apartment building so I really don't know much about pesticides or conditioners for grass....
I've noticed that the grass around our building where I take Max out is sprinkled with little yellow balls. I'm not sure what it is, but I assume it's some sort of a pesticide (even though they did not put any warning signs out for it). I don't let Max eat grass but it's hard to keep him away. It's spring, the grass is green and juicy and he wants it...
Does anybody have any idea what these little yellow balls are? Are they pesticide??? HELP!

I don't know if it is pesticide, but you know this is the time of year for tree pollen which usually appears to be yellowish on the grass. I would call up your rental office and ask them if they are using a pesticide or a fertilizer and if that is the case, call your vet and ask if it is harmful or not.
Good luck!

it could be fertalizer which is also a posion for animals. take him for a walk further down the road. since it could get into the paws and then he could lick it.
and get sick.

Until you speak to someone in the grounds office, I would keep Max away from it. I am not familiar with any yellow pesticide but I am no expert either.

My husband just put fertilizer on our flowers this weekend. It looks like
little yellow balls. He threw the bag away but thought it was one of the Miracle Grow series. Not much help but it's all I have .

Thanks a lot! I'm staying away from our grass here and take Max to the park instead. It's a bit of a hassle, but at least I know he's safe.
