Hi...I am getting our 12 week baby at the begginning of next week.
Our home is pretty much child proof as i have 3 children (skin) 7,5,and 3
I am planning in keeping the crate in the kitchen as well as keeping her in the kitchen most of the time unless she is supervised very closely by me in the other rooms.
My question is....due to the fact that i have 3 kids i often use the wet jet mop to clean the floor....could this be harmfull for the fur baby?
Thanks

I have the swiffer wet jet mop and was told that it is very toxic to your dogs that it causes the liver enzymes to increase and eventually kills the dog, the reason being that there is antifreeze in it. I heard not long ago that this news about the mop was not true that it was not harmful. My theory is better safe then sorry, when I use my swiffer mop I make sure that Shakira is not around until the floor is dry and the mop is put away.

Thanks

I will make sure the floor is dry as well....maybe even stop mopping and just do it by hand...with water and soap/....back to the old fashion way...will see
I am still unable to post pictures....dont know whats going on....i have 6 pictures and wish to share with everyone here...but it will not let me log in under the gallery...and my baby is so cute...all fawn with brindle striping only on one side.....simply beautiful.....the breeder gave her a name meaning beauty!!and we dicided not to change it...since it suits her so well.

will do

I think i will not chance it and just use soapy water/
I looked at your website Pawprintboxer and i must say your boxers are simply stunning.
I hope that soon i can show off little Nina here once the gallery gives me a go ahead.
I just put up the xmas decorations...i love to have them up for 2 months(call me crazy) and since we are keeping her name I made her ..her own xmas stocking with her own name ...done in glitter.
My hubbie must be thinking i am loosing my mind...already treating this upcoming addition just as one of the kids....I am so excited ...we are counting the days..till she is here

Hey, that sounds like my Cisco!!!! You can see in my gallery just a few brindle marks on him. I need to get an updated pic in there! He is 6 months old now.
As he has gotten older though, he has gotten more brindle near the few areas he had it at 9 weeks when I got him. He still has one side that is all fawn. Are you registering yours as a brindle? My breeder had him marked as a fawn, but I foundout here that if they have one brindle mark, they are brindle. We had to change his paperwork.
I also learned here that most people call our babies frindle, part fawn, part brindle. I love it!

fawn or brindle

Nina is fawn on the right and fanw on the left with striping...what about yours?

Cisco has fawn down his right back leg and down his right side till you get to his front leg, but it has brindle on it.
He is very small brindle marks on most of the rest of his body. He is a handsom boy! I get remarks about him everywhere we go!
As to the post question, I have a cat, three dogs and have had no problems with my swiffer jet.

Swiffer pet rumor

Question
Are the ingredients safe?

Answer
We're glad you came to us for the facts about the rumor circulating. Swiffer Wet cloths and WetJet liquid solution do not contain antifreeze or any ingredient similar to it. In fact, Swiffer products have been safely used in over 15 million U.S. homes--many with pets--for nearly five years.

Independent veterinarians and scientists evaluated the Swiffer Wet Cloths and WetJet cleaners and found them safe. The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has even posted information about this rumor on their site. Here's a link to their home page: http://www.aspca.org

We have pets too, and their health and well-being is very important to us. Please help us put animal lovers' minds at ease and stop this rumor by sharing the truth with others.
