Logansmama

Boxer Buddy
Logan sleeps in his crate everynite with a favorite toy, his blankie and a great big cushy dog bed. He seems to love sleeping in his crate.

The last couple days he has been acting very strange. Will sit outside his crate if the door is closed and whine. I'll tell him you already took your toy remember? He'll cock his little head and continue to whine so I open the door and just like clockwork, first he drags his blankie into the middle of the living room. He then goes right back and drags this big ole dog bed into the same place. Then he never looks at them again. It's not like he wants them there to sleep outside his crate. If I sneak and put them back in crate within 10 min. they are back in the living room.

Does anybody else's Boxer do this?

Boxer Insane
My Napoleon (1 yr) always pulls all his goodies out of his crate. It is a game to him to see how many times I will pick it up and put it back. :}

He also just pulls it into the living room and lays on it.
Sandy (3.5yrs) did that for a while too. She eventually grew out of it.

Completely Boxer Crazy
Ginger will sometimes pull her blankie out of her crate and just leave it on the floor or run around dragging it.

The only time Diabla is in her crate for long is when I go out. When she is let out frist thing she does is get everything out of her crate and pile them up. She will check her crate about twice a day to make sure nothing is in her crate. Curious.

Super Boxer
My two will often pull their bedding out of their crates too, but will not whine to do so if the door is closed. I am puzzled to as to why...maybe they think since it is time for them to get up, all their things need to get up too? lol

This is exactly what Makena does as well. She's rarely in her crate but if she's not in there then neither is her sheep, blanket or bed!! And she checks it repeatedly throughout the day. Sometimes I tease her and put the sheep in the back and she'll bolt in there as fast as she can and rescue it!! :LOL:

They're just so cute!
