Does anyone want to meet at the Irvine, CA 'Central Bark'?

We tested out some parks and felt really comfortable here. They have separate areas for the big dogs and the little dogs, it is all enclosed, it has port a potties, benches (some with covers) and it isn't SO big that you have to run a few miles to catch up with your dog (well, maybe thats only my issue, hehe).

If you are on I-5 take the Sand Canyon Exit in Irvine. Go West on Sand Canyon. Take a Right onto Oak Canyon and you will see a green sign that says Central Bark just past the Irvine Animal Care Center on your right. (which is nice to have right next door)

They are closed Wednesdays for maintenance. I plan on bringing my 4 mo old there often...probably 3-4 days a week for exercise and socializing. I will be going for sure this Thursday sometime after 2pm, if anyone wants to plan a play date there just let me know what time works best. Also, if you plan on going on a different day post it one here & I hope I'll be able to go...the more the merrier!!! :D

we live pretty close to the Irvine dog park. Been there a couple of times, but lately my boyfriend has decided he doesnt like taking Sydney to the dog park :( I'll see if I could convince him, because I would love if Sydney could play with other boxers!

We cant go on the weekdays because I've been working alot of late nights, but if I can convince my boyfriend to let us take her, how does saturday sound?

We can't this Saturday but next Saturday we can. We have a park near us that is not considered a dog park, but is dog friendly. It is rare that anyone is in there...and it is fenced in. If your boyfriend would be more comfortable with this it is off of El Toro road South of Irvine & we could meet you there to play. We like the dog park but it depends on who is there :) Charlie is still a pup so he doesn't do well with big dogs that don't know how to be gentle yet. He has been trampled over a few times and we have only been going for one week. He is submissive though & will roll over if he's intimdated but sometimes that doesn't stop them from body slammnig him, hehe. So far so good with playing with boxers they rough house together but understand eachother well. Just let me know. :) We have a dog Halloween Party to go to this Saturday in the afternoon & we have evening plans otherwise we would for sure.
