I saw it this morning. That is why I called my vet. I hope that your dog is doing better. If Dugan doesn't seem better in a few days I will definitley take him in. Like I said he has had this before and it's been allergies, so we'll see. Thanks.

Irritation

Hi. I have a two year old male,Dugan, that has a terrible irritaion between his pads of only his back paws. He has had this before, but usually only in the Spring and Summer. A while ago the vet told me to spray cortisone spray on them, but that hasn't helped. I cleaned them really well with anti-bacterial last night and sprayed them. It doesn't seem to be bothering him. He's not chewing or licking his feet, but they look so raw and red. I was going to see how they look after a few days and then go back into the vet. My question is has anyone else's dog had this and how did they get rid of it. Thanks for any info you can pass along.

My boxer Sam had irritation between his pads Summer,Spring, Winter the vet said it was allergies your vet can give you a allergie cream.

FYI- I posted on a another email but I promised a follow-up from Brus vet visit. The vet said the paws were due to allegies of somekind. Im not sure what cause we tried venison rice food and that did nothing?? The vet gave him a shot of cortizone and sent some tablets home for us to give him until his feet clear up and whenever he starts to chew them again.
