Last night for the 2nd time in as many months, Austin just stood up and started peeing. and he peed and he peed.....i took him outside and he peed and peed more. Doesnt raise his leg...just stands there peeing, like he is sleep walking.
First time he did this, he had just laid down for maybe like 5 min...stood up as if daze ...I called him a time or 2 before I could get him out the back door. I took him to the vet next morning, I had collected a urine sample and it came back normal. Vet was thinking that it was the heat ( We had been out the day before for a really good run and it was pretty hot) There is no other signs, there was nothing to make me think it was a seizure ( no movements)
Last night, I had just mentioned to neighbor, Austin was sure staring at me funny. We had 4 doggies over playing and I had made the comment he looks as if he is saying he is tired of the kids playing....he had starred at me for a good 5 min before he just stood up...and started peeing...again no leg lifts...just standing in middle of floor peeing....again it took a couple of calls to get him to back door, once in yard ( not in his normal potty place, he just stands...and pee's and pee's....once back inside...he seems fine. In thinking back, his eyes were constricted, really a lot of brown showing, because once we came back in , they were almost all black and even after a bit only 1/2 black, never returned to being so constricted , not even today.
Any ideas, suggestions? We do have apt with vet for thur....and I am requesting CBC and thyroid panel to be done.
