Introducing Sundance

I have a four 1/2 month old boxer named Sundance and he is the love of my life. He weighs 33 pounds and is fawn with totally black mask. He has a little bit of white on his chin, feet and chest. Sorry, I don't have a scanner to show his picture.

I knew about this site for a while but now that I have Sundance I am constantly logging on. I have learned so much from reading everyone's comments, questions, suggestions, etc. on the various forums. Everyone is so supportive and should be congratulated. I was feeding Sundance Iams rice and lamb kibble, but after reading the different threads, I have switched to Nutro. That's what the local pet store carried in natural foods. He has been eating much more enthusiastically. After reading the top ten list from Whole Dog Journal, I would like to get Innova or Cannidae.

Thanks to everyone for making BoxerWorld my favorite website. I can tell this is where the real boxer lovers can be found.

Thanks, I love Robert Redford and loved the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. If only Robert Redford was as handsome as my Sundance!

Welcome to Boxerworld! Sundance really is a very cute name. Your boy is just a couple weeks older than my little Stella. It's a fun age, isn't it?

By the way, we switched our pups to Canidae about a month or so ago, and it's great!

Thanks for the information on Canidae. I spoke with a representative a few minutes ago and then ordered a 20 pound bag of it from their website. I really feel this is one of the best things I can do for my dog.

A friend of mine checks on Sundance twice a day while I am work and she told me yesterday she can smell my perfume on him. I guess that comes from all those kisses and hugs I give him. lovicon

That's great that you're going with Canidae. We used to think that Science Diet was the best, but it turns out it was only the best of the crappy brands. SD has lots of bad stuff in it. My hubby did tons of research and decided on Canidae. All of this happened because Chewy got pancreatitis, and now has a very sensitive digestive system. Plus, we LOVE our babies, and they should only have the very best. Sounds like Sundance will too! :)

By the way, we buy ours at a local store. Maybe you can ask the Canidae rep if there is a store near you that carries it. That might save you some shipping charges.
