Boxer Pal
Hello to all, especially those in the Washington DC area. We are new to this list and we would like to introduce our two father-and-son Boxers, Kito and Mufasa. Today's Kito's birthday (April 20) and he is four years old. His son, Mufasa, was born November 22, 2003, one of 6 living puppies in the brood.
We lost touch with the owner of the female we mated Kito with (Pepper, now Jamie) who is the mother of the puppies. We heard that she and some of the other puppies were put into a rescue program and taken to North Carolina--where, we don't know. We would like to locate the other puppies and their owners just to see how they're doing and what they look like and possibly to get Mufasa and some of his sibs together at some point. We also are trying to locate Kito's litter mates. We got him from Front Royal, VA, from a very conscientious breeder.
If anyone reading this has any leads or notices an uncanny resemblance between our two dogs (I'll post some photos on this site too) and theirs and their birthdates.
Beyond all that, we love our guys and wouldn't trade 'em for the world. They are smart, fun-loving, active, obedient, sweet, and great companions--but I'm sure you all know that!
