Boxer Pal
Hi my name is Steve and I live in the uk north of Oxford with my partner Susan.
We have a 7 year old flashy brindle bitch called Carrie which is short for Carriadd.
Carrie is the 2nd Boxer we have had, our 1st Boxer George died 2 years ago at 9.5 years old.
We are hoping to aquire a Boxer puppy as a companion to Carrie in the near future.
We would like another Flashy brindle bitch but are concerned which would be better a dog or a bitch as it must get along with Carrie.
Any opinions on this gratefully received.
Hope to post some pictures soon.
Regards
Steve

Boxer Insane
Welcome to Boxerworld!

I think it depends a lot on the personalities of the two dogs involved, but I think the general opinion is that two dogs of the opposite sexes would get along better.

I have a very dominant female, and a more laid-back male. They didn't get along too well at first because Beau (male) needed some socialization training when I got him 6 mo. ago, but they get along much better now.

Good luck! and keep us posted on what you decide!
