Boxer Buddy
I just have to share how intelligent Boxers are.

For the past month (from 4 months old) Harley has been (a) house trained, (b) rings bell to go into yard for potty (thanks to BW for this), (c) is top of his puppy class (even demonstrates the required moves for the other puppies in the class), (d) no problems with crate, (e) recall is almost 90% there as it depends on the niceness of the treat available.

Don't get me wrong, lead work is still being worked on, but over all I am really pleased with his progress. When going to the park, he just wants to get there, but on the return he will walk nicely to heel.

I sure am glad I did finally choose the Boxer as my friend and not another breed.

Now it is onto teaching him a few tricks......... :D

Super Boxer
Good job Harley!:D My Samson is pretty quick to learn things too, although we haven't worked on a lot of things because of his broken leg. Now that the splint is off....watch out world, here we come!:D :D

Boxer Insane
Lacey is a quick learner also. Some people think of a boxer as a dumb animal that runs into things but, we all know better. What misinformed people there are in this world. Glad to hear that Harley is doing so well with his learning. Keep up the good work Harley!!! appicon

Boxer Pal
I agree. My Trinity started her puppy kindergarten 2 weeks ago, and everyone in the class is so surprised by how smart she is. She is only 10 weeks old and she does better than most of the other dogs who are alot older. We are so proud. Now if I could just get her to stop peeing in her crate!!!:D

Completely Boxer Crazy
Um, well, sometimes I ask Lucy where her daddy is (while he is sitting right in front of her on the couch) and she runs to the window to look for him. I guess my girl is not in danger of being accepted to Harvard . . .
