Instant (Flavored) Oatmeal - ok or not?

I found out, by accident, that my 2-year-old likes instant oatmeal. Is there any reason to avoid giving him any? The kind he liked was the Maple and Brown Sugar flavor, of course. . .I love it, too.

Not-too much sugar and probably has salt too.
The plain instant is ok though and great if your pup has a tummy upset.

I make this up and put it in Lola & Zeb's kongs and freeze them. They love it and it takes them ages to get it all out.
I use the golden syrup flavour one.
