I'm late jumping in here but we always mix canned with kibble. We feed Innova adult regular to all 3 dogs and mix with either canned adult or now EVO 95% and use either venison or beef. In fact, this is all we've ever fed to our 6 month old Dobe. She was raised on it from the breeder straight on to us. The protein and fat contents of canned food is much lower than that of the same food in dry kibble, so we still keep her in the 22%-26% recommended protein range for puppies. We also mix in some Sea Meal or Prozyme and some steamed bone meal along with a little coconut oil.
