Here is a link that will describe the different health tests that need to be preformed on both animals to make sure they are fit for breeding. I also recommend that you contact a breeder in your area from this list that will be able to give you some insight as they are all reputable breeders. It's best to be given correct information from a reputable breeder than misinformation from a backyard breeder.

Hi Shelby
I noticed you are also from Canada, but since you do not state which part of Canada you are from, I will give you the link to the Boxer Club of Canada that I have. It has information about breeding, health testing and code of ethics etc. on it. Each Province has a provincial club as well. This may be a great place to start your research BEFORE you get into breeding. You may also be able to locate a breeder from the membership list in your area who will mentor you in the breeding process.

As well here is another link I have that gives you information on health testing that should be done before breeding as well. I do hope you take the time to research, ask questions, find a reputable well seasoned breeder who will mentor you. It takes a lot more than just having two pretty boxers to produce a good healthy litter. Best of luck to you
