Tractor destroyed everything that came near his kennel. He even managed to destoy the plastic bottom to it. He is now at 80 lbs and 1 year old. I found an old wool blanket that he has done well with. He does however mange to push some of it through the kennel and then pulls it back through so I get home and have to unweave it all.

My next step was the fleece. I'm still going to get some, just in case. Good luck to you.

wish i could help but we have this same problem with Athena. She can't be trusted with anything in, around or close to her crate otherwise it will be shredded. Apollo on the other hand has never chewed on anything in his crate other than toys.

It's weird because Athena wont chew on anything in the house other than toys while Apollo chews on everything. It's completly opposite when it comes to crating.

We shoved an entire dog bed into Roxy's crate :) It is basically a huge pillow covered in fake leather and sheep fur. It's on there pretty tight and she has never tried to chew it. The original fleace crate liner/bed was peed on and chewed up after 1 day! There is a picture of the dog bed in my gallery. (The crate in the picture is not the one that now has the dog bed in it!)
It was from Sams club for $35.
Good lucK!

indestructable crate bedding

My Maggie detests her cage but unfortunately we have to work, I have done several things which have helped somewhat.

I fill a kong with kibble and yogurt with banana's and freeze it every day. I have also put one of our dirty shirts in there so she can feel close to us even if we're not there. Sometimes it's mine and others it's DH's.

She still shreds her papers but i think this is more because she is licking the kong. My next purchase will be the largest kong to keep her busy longer.

Hope something works :)

I guess i'm lucky with Whiskey. I just flipped over the sheep fuzz liner to the nylon side, stick her sheep fuzz bed and a tiger striped towel in there and she lays like a baby. I leave the TV on the animal channel for her all day and she watches it. Even barks back from time to time. When I walk in in the evenings she yawns, stretches as I open the gate. sits for a second and then shoots out like a missle. I think its all to do with never talking to them while in the crate or making a big deal for leaving then in there.

Atlas used to tear his bed up in his crate until I bought a sheep skin type bed. When I bought that bed he did not even try to tear it up. Good luck!
