I know a link has been posted on here before that is very helpful. I am sure someone will post it for you or if you search the threads you will find it. I am reading a great book right now by Brenda Aloff, Aggression in Dogs, that gives a lot of clear and step by step guidance in managing aggressive dogs. It was a little pricey but by far the best I have read on the subject. I am just beginning to use the methods she explains but they REALLY work. Good luck

Our veterinary clinic has referral information for a very talented behaviorist just a short drive from out town; maybe checking with your vet for referrals would be a good idea?

Talk to you vet. I got 2 recommendations. The first one was awful! (said I would have to euthenize my boxer if he didn't pass 2 of her private lessons and 1 group series) I told her that would never be an option! (my vet no longer refers to this one) The second guy is Wonderful!!! My male boxer is doing so well!

Interview and don't be afraid to change if you are uncomfortable in any way.
