I would like my dog to meet other boxers, he is a puppy but he loves to play with all dogs, big or small. I am in Dallas, I see that people used to meet at the Plano Dog Park, do people still do that from here?

People still do that. You should check out Legacy Boxer Rescue - we're having an event this weekend in Dallas. A dog wash to help out our rescue. There will be a pet fare there as well. . .it will be a good way for your baby to meet others.

Just an FYI though- he really shouldn't be around other pups until he's had his shots.

:)

Bruno&Belle

Boxer Buddy
Are you in Dallas or in the suburbs? We live in Allen. I've never been to the dog park with Bruno because he overheats so easily (he's an English Bulldog) and I would feel bad bringing Belle (our year-old Boxer) and leaving Bruno at home.

Bruno&Belle: I'm technically in Dallas but I'm right on the edge of Richardson, not far from Allen at all. Maybe Bruno could chill in the shade under some trees, I almost got a Bulldog, I think they're great. I

mmichaelson: Does he need all 3 sets before he can play? He's had 2 already.

chrystel:When are you going to the park in Plano?

The shots thing is a little bummer, but definately worth the wait. Its suggested that they not be placed around other dogs till he has had his 3 rounds of vaccinations. After that he should be good to go.... Its really for his safety. Just to keep him from getting any of those harmful puppy diseases....

you will have plenty of play time and chances to show your baby off after he's been completey vaccinated ;)

Every vet says differently. We took Sam out after 2 sets, per our vet's instructions.

Don't forget the dog wash to benefit Legacy Boxer Rescue is this Saturday! You can meet other boxers (and our volunteers) and get your baby washed, and maybe Christmas pics in the Dallas area.
