Boxer Buddy
To anyone who has helpful info:

I have two great boxers who need to blow off some steam. My boyfriend and I take them for a jog in the park every day, but they aren't allowed off - leash. I don't have a fenced - in yard, nor know anyone who does. Any place I try to go either has traffic or a lot of people. I'm wanting to find a place where they can just go! We all know how boxers like to play. My boyfriend and I try to let them play while on their retractable leashes, but it just turns into a tangled mess. Anyone know where we can go? Suggestions?
Thanks so much.

I think they are in the process of building one in Westerville off of Shrock Rd. The only other one I know of is in Dublin or Hilliard and they have a LONG waiting llist to become a member. More info is at www.barkpark.org

I take Gideon over to Antrim Park. There's a big lake and there's a part of it where on nice days about 20 dogs go off the leash and wrestle, run, swim and play. Then I walk Gideon around the loop to dry him off (it's 1.2M around the lake). The park is on Olentangy River Road between Bethel and 161.

I have two places that I go with my boxer, I have no idea if you live close to either one of these. The first one is the track that is enclosed on the corner of Calumet and Arcadia at North Adult, in the Clintonville area, it can be completely enclosed all the way around, there are bleachers and a large football field, my boxer loves it, other people bring there dogs there. The other is behind the Deaf school on the corner of Morse RD and Indianola Ave, the entire area is enclosed and there is a ravine and it is huge and secluded and alot of other people take there dogs there, it is a littley tricky to get into but if you are interested I can give you more details. Good Luck
