10 of 10 ~ no deafness

I do agree, it seems against the stats, but I have had 5 from early puppyhood, plus 5 second generation pups born of a 7 month old bitch (inexperience with silent early heat on my part).

All were hearing; no testing done, since these were NOT deliberately bred. So I acknowledge there may have been undetected loss.

I would like to hear other white boxer owner stats, since we apparently are suckers for the whites.

only once

I met one female white boxer. Her name is Bella or Belle..I can't remember. We met at the dog park. She did great. Dogs communicate without speech, so she can still "listen" and "speak" dog.
Actually I think the owner was a little too nervous. I told her to check out this site and not get discouraged. I told her there were lots of resources out there to help with deaf dogs. They still need a loving home, and they can also be very well trained.

I have never met a deaf boxer...I have a white one, who somehow loses his hearing when he is in trouble. Not sure if that counts though!

I know of one deaf boxer. I have come in contact with quite a few whites but they were at a younger age and still had hearing. Other than that I only know of one.
