I think it's funny when we don't know we're doing it. When we are out we often refer to Rogue as Beans, & people give us funny looks. Rogue answers to Beans. Her nickname is Roguey-Bean, so we shorten it to Beans a lot. :D

Roscoe doesnt really have any nicknames because it seems to be a hard name to change, the only other thing I call him is Bubba, which is when he is all cute and cuddly and sleeping. When people ask what his name is and we tell them, every single person always says..."Roscoe P. Coltrane!!" Apparently he is from the Dukes of Hazzard, which I never really watched

Our dark brindle's official name is Azuki (Japanese for the dark bean that is used to make the sweet bean paste used in desserts) but in practice her name has been shortened to Zuki. And then of course we had to lenghten it again and call her Zuki-zukes or Zuki-zu.
