I'm getting a Boxer puppy !!!!!

HI all. I will be getting my puppy in about 4 weeks. She is sooo cute. This is my first dog - ever so I will need lots of advice. My husband has had dogs when he was young so he knows some things. I also have 3 kids (Heather 13, Jacob 6 and Emily 7months). We are all looking forward to adding this little angel to our family. Any help and advice you have for me will be great!
We are also trying to find the perfect name for her so if you have any cool ideas let me know. She is a fawn boxer with a black face and black nose.

Congratulations on your upcoming family member. We got our first boxer on October 2nd. Her name is Cashew (11 weeks old, flashy fawn, ADORABLE) You will find this site a wealth of information, everyone is extremely helpful. I consider everyone here my "best" unmet friends. I wish you good luck with your baby...please post pictures ASAP. We will all be looking forward to seeing them !!!!!!!! Zina

Woohoo !! A new baby appicon appicon.Nothing better than a new little bundle of boxer fur to snuggle and love.:) Time will fly and she'll be home before you know it . You'll love it hear at BW, lots of helpful info and super great people. Can't wait to see pics of the new baby :)

Sooo Happy for you

I was a first time mommy nearly 2 years ago now. I know how excited you are!
Nothing will prepare you for how fast your heart will be stolen away!
I may be biased but I have many friends and family members with various breeds and by FAR Boxers are the BEST! They are sooo sweet and sooo lovable. They are also H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S !!! You are in for a wonderful treat!

Congrats on your new addition!

You will LOVE having a boxer baby- I got my mine about a year ago, and she has been such a great addition to the family!
Buy lots of toys- it will help keep her entertained, and prevent chewing on the furniture!! Start training EARLY- as boxers can be very stubborn, however they are they best dogs ever- I love my Chloe!

I know how hard it is to wait after meeting your new baby. They are so very cute right from week one. My baby girl is 5 months already - time really flies.

I considered names for my girl (also a fawn) such as Honey, Blossom (you will know why after you experience boxer gas) and Bambi. Ended up naming her Lucy which during the teething stage became short for Lucifer. Also made it easy to say "Lucy you got alot of 'plainin' to do" in my Ricky Ricardo voice.

Congratulations on preparing to be a new Boxer momma. It sounds like you have a houseful as it stands :)

The name will come. Let the puppy pick it out. They are never wrong :D
