I have a beautiful male boxer - my first. He is going to be 4 months old this week. He's a total joy except for a couple things -- the biting - I'm assuming it's because of him being a pup, I give him alot of chew toys and pig ears, but he likes my toes. The other thing is the barking. He barks in my face all the time. He's not mean, he's very playful, but he gets on this barking thing and doesn't stop. If I raise my voice he lunges at me and slaps me with his paw. I know he's playing but enough is enough. Is this common in the breed?
