no we do not need permits for this park. the park is called Van Horn Woods Dog Park.

I-55 to Rt-30, exit route 30 take right, the first street on left is frontage rd, turn left on to frontage rd(follow it around a turn then you will be runnin along the highway) dog park will be on you right hand side directly before you reach caton farm rd.

im new to the area so if i take you a little bit out of the way im sorry, but if you took I-80 to larkin, go north on larkin to caton farm rd, turn left onto caton farm rd. take that over I-55 the first street over I-55 is frontage rd. turn right, the park will be on your left.

That sounds like the straightest path to me, it is better than taking 80 all the way to 55 and coming back.

Ok so what are all the details......who, what, when, where. I am pretty sure I can make it and possibly my wife.

Thanks for the directions Niko! I will be there rouphly around 12 noon or 1pm or so. I am really looking forward to the play date! I know that Madalynn will have a great time. (just a note, Madalynn has a fleece sweatshirt that she wears purple, red, black and orange!) You won't miss her! Hopeully it will be nice BUt I will bundle up for the cold! See you all soon. :~)

Well the weather is supposed to be in the 70's. I don't think you'll have a problem recognizing Sapphire if we are there, since she's dark. So it's between 12 and 1? Is this when the majority are coming?

Oh no, 24th is on Sunday? I thought it was on a Saturday that we were meeting up. I don't want to change the plans on everybody so I will try and get the day off on Sunday. ::fingers crossed::

yes we are meeting up between 12 and 1 ish till whenever, bring lunch for yourselves and treats/toys(although i dont think they will be interested in anything we have once they get together)for the furbabies

I'm still in... noonish sounds good... we'll need the sleep...got in LATE last night stuck in florida waiting for air Force one to land, delayed our flight...ANYWAY... we are still planning on Sunday see you guys there!! Everytime I see Niko's Aviatar I have to do a double take he looks so much like Guinness...
