Kona's gotta be getting big now! How much does she weigh? How's the weekend look? Sunday is probably better for Tessa and I. Tessa drove me insane this weekend w/ her need for attention. She needs some puppy energy worn off!

Rocco and I would be interested too barring any crazy changes in the weather. I can't wait for him to meet other boxers! Is there somewhere in particular you guys go?

Glen Ellyn Park

It is at the intersection of Spring Ave and Rt 53.(1/2 mi or so north of the Roosevelt Rd. overpass)
There is a stop light at the intersection.
The park is not completly fenced in but it looks real nice: shade, water and picnic tables. It is visable from Rt 53 . If you come down Rt 53 from the southit will be on your left-hand side. Turn at the stop light. It is free to use also.

With Rocco only being 8 months old, I am a little concerned about the not fenced in part. When there are other dogs around he pretty much won't part from "the pack" but I'd hate for this to be the time he decides to take off. Has anything ever happened like this at the park? The only park I've taken him to (off of Rte 83 and 31st St.) is completely fenced in.
He is good with his recall but currently is a stubborn 8 month old. ;)

The park is not fenced in by the entrances ( about a 50 ft stretch on either side and not by the roads) on either side of the building. Ours has never shown any interest in going towards the entrances while with the other dogs. She is so distracted I am not sure she even realizes the entrances, which are quite a ways from the play area.
