short version, its a mite that attacks "puppy" skin kinda. because the pups immune system isnt strong enough to fight it off. its not contagious. just a pain in the butt, makes them loose their hair. if you want more info do a search and it will give you more info than you can handle.

Did my research! Sounds like a genetic thing (no wonder you can't get hold of the breeder!) Also sounds like something he will eventually grow out of when his immune system matures.

i also joined another local dog park that is actually closer than that one in homewood-flossmoor. i go to that park quite often, but would like to go to the joliet park in order to make some more friends for apollo to play with.
