Well, it sounds like Sunday works best for all. What time?? 12:30?? 1:00??

I can go anytime.

I will probably still go saturday, anyway!!!!! I cant help it that i am addicted to harley.

Linswatson- Thanks!!! There is no doubt about it, Harley is the best dog. You should see him with my 1 year old- he tries to eat while my son has his hand next to his face in the food bowl. Harley just ignores and keeps eating...my son crawls all over him, pulls his ears, pulls his lips, harley just lays there.

I try not to let Darren bug him too much. But being married to a trucker, its hard to always watch everything and still get stuff done around the house all alone!!!

As for his nose- i dont know. Its cute...it used to be black....turned brown sometime in late summer....wondering if he sniffed the bbq grill or something and burned it??? just all the sudden brown, and never changed back to black again.

Planning on checking this location out on Saturday. If we can find it.

Tatertot - what time on Saturday do you usually go to the park? Are there other boxers there also?

We will probably be there around noon.

Kona needs some older boxers to show her the ropes.
Kona is a 4 month old flashy brindle - full of energy!!!
(My 13 yr old fawn KOKO just wants to sleep.)

Sure i can be there around noon. Maybe a little later...12:30...1:00....umm if im not there, dont count me out.

Coming from about 20 miles away, and have to get harley PLUS 1 year old ready to go.

Try as i might, i never seem to get there on time.


Have you ever been there?? the entrance is kind of hard to see. drove right past my first time.

I am very interested in coming on Saturday or Sunday. I have a 1 1/2 year old male brindle boxer and he loves to play with others but I haven't found a park that I feel safe at. Let me know times and we will try to show up. Thanks a lot

Never been to this park. Tried to pinpoint it on a map. Looks like it is off the frontage road on the west side of 55. I think we will eventually find it.

Is the park fenced at all. Kona is not really trained yet for off leash in an open area. She is just learning her name and is now at that independent age of ignoring.

We will try and be there after 12 sometime - nothing definite since Saturdays are generally very busy.

Sounds like there is alot of interest in many boxer owners that afternoons on Saturdays or Sundays would be a good time any weekend. {No appt. necessary ;) }

Maybe eventually the park will be known as a boxer hang-out. Seems like regular play groups are hard to find in this area.

(We signed up Kona for a puppy class but all the others are smaller breeds and don't play like a boxer.)

Hope to see you AND OTHERS at the "Boxer" park.

Yes, it is fenced! Not very big, but i think thats nice, because they cant go running off across 3 acres and get into something. You can stand in one spot and always see them.


Okay. Rather than try to organize a boxer bash!!!!! I will just say that Harley and I will be there BOTH saturday AND sunday, BOTH days around 1:00 pm. Now you know!!!! Feel free to join.

And NikoBrindle- PLEASE come!!!! HARLEY will gladly play with your baby, and HE wont care what other owners think!!!!!!!
