If your profile is deleted can you still use your screen name?

Hello,

I just realized that you can't delete photos. I am so proud of my baby, I've gone camera crazy. I was reading on FAQ that to get pictures deleted your profile gets deleted also.

I don't want that to happen so I will be very selective on uploading pictures. But if the profile is deleted can that screen name associated with the profile be reused or is it considered null and void?

it's not your 'profile' that gets deleted, it's your membership.... It would be a little surprising if a banned member's user name were to be reused, would it not?

That is why I wanted some clarification. Profile and membership is pretty much the same thing to me anyways. I just wanted to check.
