Thank you for your wishes!

I was so touched to read all of your well wishes when I logged on. How thoughtful and supportive. When I need a boost I just get on this chat. There are so many wonderful people and topics! Kaizer is just so good. Too Good. He is very obedient, loving and so cute! He plays like he was a 3 year old instead of 7. He loves to run in his new yard. When I say run, I mean run! He wears himself out. The women from the boxer rescue said that his favorite toy was a tennis ball, so I bought him one the size of a basketball, his expression was AWESOME! He plays back and forth with it. I love him so much already and find that I never want to go out, I want to stay with him! He has adjusted remarkably well, no problems (knock on wood!) I had the man come to fix our invisible fence. It has been out of order for a while, my last dog didn't need it. I am wondering if I should even bother. He is so good and stays right with me, I hate to go through with all the training and it isn't even necessary. But then he does get curious with other scents and animals and just loves people so I am torn. What are your suggestions?

Congratulations Acey & Kaizer on finding each other!!! appicon appicon appicon I am so glad there was a happy ending to this thread. lovicon One of Mason's favorite toys is the huge tennis ball you mentioned - the other is his frisbee.

I prefer an actual fence. I know too many people who have had issues with the invisible fences and their dogs were hurt by them. Actually, I'm not sure if there are permitted for discussion in the forums here. We currently do not have a fence but Mason is also at my side whenever we go out and never outside unsupervised. We are looking into putting a fence up within a year or so - need approval from the new landlord.

Best of luck to you - I am glad you waited and found the perfect match. Post some pics when you get a chance - I'd love to see Kaizer at his new home. :)

Congrats Acey and Kaizer! fiestaicon

I just wanted to add that I, too, appreciate all that rescue volunteers do. I would definitely rescue in the future. :D
