So we have been letting our almost 2 year old boy stay out of the crate when we go away for an hour or two during the day, and yesterday I was super curious to see what he was doing while we were away. So I set up my computer to point to his favorite spot on the couch and took a video. Somehow, it only took a 5 minute video, but that's all I needed to see that he was a VERY GOOD boy while we were gone.

He fusses a little, lets out a sad little whine halfway through and the end is just him sleeping, but I was so happy to see that he wasn't sad for long and didn't get into any mischief!

I'm glad Jem is doing so well out of his crate. I often wondered what my two do while I'm gone. I've seen them looking out the front window watching me leave, and it always tugs at my heart.

We left him out of his crate last night too, and when we came home all the cushions were off the couch and the red throw blanket was stuffed into the couch! Has anyone else experienced this? I'm so confused by what could have possibly driven this behavior!

Those cushions could have very well been eaten!!!! Maybe he was trying to get more comfy and do some rearranging?

I have a friend whose dog scatch up a dresser while she was gone because her dog's favorite toy and gotten stuck underneath it. So maybe Jem dropped something and wanted to get it out. Come to think of if I have seen my own dog push a cushion off to get at a toy.

Lol, But I will DEFINITELY be recording when we leave him free. He has done such destruction when he has gotten out, that I figure maybe the video of him doing it will win me some $$$ on Funniest Home Video's, to replace the things he destroys. LOL.

YES! I was kinda hoping to catch him doing something funny!
