Its truely sad. These people are ignorant probably because they have never been educated on what goes into breeding. As for Chico, he will be getting neutered probably in April.

no matter how many times i hear about people like this or see them on Animal Cops I truly get enraged. It is one of the few things that I, a very laid back guy, can get passionate about. LOL. maybe I should be an Animal Cop??? I hate seeing these people get off with 2 nights in jail and a fine. Never seems to be fair to me?

People always say it is 'such a shame' that I had Zoey spayed. And when I try and tell them the benefits, their eyes seem to glaze over, and you acn see them thinking "I would have bred her". A few have even said it would have made her a 'nicer' dog if she had had a litter. I personally can't imagine a nicer dog than Zoey!!! She likes everyone/thing! It's too bad people are still stuck in the old way of thinking.

We have been told that same thing about Siren. We have actually had people offer us money to breed her - which just affirms to me that we made the right decision. If I had skin kids I certainly don't have them so that I can get them knocked up and sell off their babies....and my furkids are my kids!
