My heart goes out to you.. and I cry reading this.. I lost my Tuff E. Nuff in June 2006, and it feels like yesterday. Reading your words, well.. I was the same with Tuff.. He was MY everything. No matter what, he was there with me through thick and thin. I cherished him, and still do.. I will never forget him.
But I do know that he is at peace, and that he will be waiting for me and that he is with my beloved little brother whom passed away two days after Tuffy.. (my little brother actually gave me Tuffy from his litter of boxer pups)
GOD BLESS YOU...
Your baby will be with you forever in your heart and soul...

sincerely,

It does get better. My 1st boxer rockne died in me & my wifes arms in the kitchen floor of heart failure on halloween. He was 12. He was our baby. You never forget the joy they brought but the pain eventually turns into happy memories. Please give yourself time to grieve because the pain you feel is very real and totally normal. Some people wont understand it but most will.

In time you will feel the need to get another boxer. I thought it would be a good replacement but the new pup takes a different path and becomes more than a replacement. They become another boxer that you love just as much as your lost one.

You will feel better in time. take comfort in the fact you gave a good dog a wonderful home and he did his best to make you happy.

crying as i read this.
we helped our 12 year old boy to the bridge last may.
it was a very very very difficult day but, like you, we knew it was the right thing to do.
my heart still aches for him....and his memories bring tears to my eyes.
hugs to you! i know your pain....as so many other do, too.
it does get easier. but never goes away completely.....at least for me it hasn't.
and for those people that said "it's just a dog"....it's a shame that those people will never know what it's like to love or be loved by an animal. it is truly their loss. I've learned to not even try to convince them otherwise because most of the time there is no convincing them.

HANG IN THERE
RIP Brock.

So sorry for your loss of Brock angelicon I know your heart is breaking right now and you have done alot of crying it took a year for me to look at Willy's pictures before I would stop crying when I saw them and now I smile and remember how much I loved him. In time you will to. I think I cried more when the light went out of his eyes and I knew the time had come then when I actually helped him to the bridge, because I knew I was doing the right thing. Cry all you want he was not just a dog he was your family and all of here understand that.
