I am sorry but isn't this perpetuating the BYB cycle? Will your male be health tested before being bred to a female. What about the female will she be tested? What are your plans with the future litter? Just wondering

As for the Yorkie will it be male or female? You could have some issues with another male. Angel gets along good with Frank but obviously there is a gender difference.

GET YOUR DOG NEUTERED!
Why in heaven would you want to breed your dog? He will live longer and make a better pet neutered.
Your boyfriend needs to stop being ignorant.

Im sorry that my dog is not 100 %, you cant help falling in love with him. Also I did not come here to get yelled at by people but asking questions. I guess I will find another place to ask questions.

No one is meaning to attack you. They just want to make sure you are making an informed decision. There are so many puppies out there in rescue and so many others in shelters who need good homes. The people on this site support responsible breeding which I believe is breeding to enhance the breed. That's all. They are just concerned for your baby. So sorry to hear that you feel this way.

Loving your dog and breeding him are very, very different things. I hope that you will stick around on Boxerworld and learn. If you truly open your mind to the information that is available, you'll understand why breeding your dog is not acceptable to those of us here. It has nothing to do with us being snobby or thinking our dogs are better than yours. My dog is purebred boxer. He is by no means up to the appropriate standards for breeding, and I care about his health more than anything. That's why he's neutered.

Sorry I just felt that I was getting yelled at. I had a bad day at work, failed to brief a case right, and he ate another pair of shoes.

If you are planning to add another male dog to the pack, you absolutely MUST get them both neutered. Otherwise you are going to have lots of fighting and bloodshed to deal with for the lives of these two non-neutered males living in the same pack. Save yourself TONS of grief down the road and do the right thing. Tell your bf that he is doing the dog a DISSERVICE by not neutering him. He is risking his dog's health. The neuter issue is your bf's problem, not the dog's.

I've got some help with the kitty box. I have a boxer and three cats so of course I have three litter boxes. She at first thought it was heaven.

I started sparying the boxes with green apple. Didn't work. Next I used a spray bottle. Kind of worked. Then I took a can of pennies (any type of empty can) and everytime she approached the box, I would shake them and scare her to death. Now she won't go near a litter box. It's all about conditioning but be assertive or he'll enjoy a belly full of kitty treats.
