I miss my baby

I am currently in optometry school and finals are this week. My husband took this opportunity to give me some study time by visiting out of town for a few days. We thought it would be a good idea for Maggie to go along with him. She is 4 months and wild....no studying for mom! I thought this would be best but now I am lonely! I miss my baby!...funny thing is, I think I mean the dog!

Hopefully you can keep your mind off how much you miss BOTH of your babies and focus on studying. If not, hopefully they'll be home soon.

Good Luck!!

Just have a photo of them both with you wherever you go, it would have been good to make a tape recording before they left so that you could still hear Maggie, I am sure that she would have given you a little sniffle or even a 'woo-woo song' to keep you going until she was back with you.

I'm so sorry! I currently work from home and have been with Bodie since the day we brought him home at 9 weeks, I don't know how we're both going to survive when my boss comes here next week to look for an office! I hope it doesn't happen. My boss has said this before but one of these times he might actually do it! Working from home has it's downfalls, but just being with him all day is fun. (except for when he gets gas in my office!) I'm sure you'll get through fine-wouldn't want to chance him eating your homework like Bodie ate my mortgage bill last month!! Seriously-can you imagine calling the mortgage co. with "the dog ate it" excuse? :o Hope time flys for you and good luck on your finals!

You all are so sweet. I appreciate the support! I am getting tons of studying done and my husband called with maggie on the phone. I did get a little whoo-whoo out of her. She is so much our child! My husband says that she has had a blast so far. There is an English Bulldog that lives next door to his brother. He says they were afraid the bulldog would trample her at first but when the dog ran at her, Maggie immediately gave the dog one of her boxer paws on the nose and from then on the rules were set. They have been playing all day! She is so funny. :) I am so happy to have a place to share these "boxer" times with so many people.
