I have to brag...Storm did great!

I decided to take Storm back to the dog park yesterday. We haven't taken her for a while as her recall needed alot of work. Last time we were there she wouldn't even look at me when I called and I spent 30mins trying to catch her so we could leave. Since then we have been working hard and having been using the 'dog listener' methods which have been working fatastically

When we pulled up at the park there were about 20 dogs there which is the most we have ever encountered. Storm was such a angel She came straight to me nearly everytime I called and I made a huge fuss of her which she thought was great and everyone else looked at me as if I was mad! :p

They have also put in a new pond which was great fun and she was showing a retriever & lab how you a real dog swims! She really did great and made me so proud! lovicon

It's nice to hear that you and Storm both had an enjoyable experience! WooHoo Storm! I'm glad you showed those dogs how swimming is really supposed to be done! A good recall is a very good thing! It will be a nice thing when Paisley learns recall and the such. We're in training now and she's learning it, but she still has quite a way to go before we're "done" training. I will always train her though! Just like they say for humans, they can learn something new everyday! I wish we had a dog park here, but unfortunately we don't, that and a lot of people aren't very dog-'friendly-ish' around here.. There probably are some, but I rarely meet true dog lovers(like us boxer owners :p) Again, It's nice to hear of another well-trained boxer baby!
