I gave Mommy heart failure!! Is that bad??

Hi ev'ryone! It's Charm. Mommy's been really busy at work so she hasn't had a lot of time to be on BW. So I'm going to tell you all about my weekend!

Saturday was really nice at my house so mommy let me out to run. (I'm on a 75 foot lead line so I can't run in the street but I don't know that) We went into the backyard to play and out at the pond were these funny feathery things (geese). I tried to chase them but they just jumped in the wet stuff. I ran all the way to the edge of the pond and stopped. I didn't want to go in. I went in up past my elbows but decided I didn't like it. So I ran back and forth across the bank trying to find a way to get to them geese. Then I realized I could run AROUND the pond to the other side and get 'em. Well this time I wasn't going to let them get away and when they tried to get in the wet stuff I tried to jump on them. I sank like a rock!!!! I went all the way under the wet stuff for like 15 whole seconds!! (seemed like hours) When I came up I just paddled my little paws for all I was worth. I heard mommy calling me so I swam over to her and she pulled me out. Her eyes were as big as my food bowls and she was as white as all that snow stuff that just went away. I'm ok though. I wasn't coughing or anything. Mommy made me go inside and dry off anyway. She said she couldn't take anymore. She said I gave her a heart attack. Is that a bad thing????

Well I gotta go. I gotta go find those geese.

Heart Attack

Reading your story reminded me of the first time Sherlock ran into a pond. He was playing /chasing Copper. Copper loves water and ran into a duck pond. Sherlock followed and was about 15 feet of bank when he froze. I could tell he was puzzled and a little scared. He wouldn't move. Just kept looking at me and then the water. Copper ran back into the water and thinking he wanted to play jumped on him and under he went. When he came up he was shaking and whimpering. I was already sitting on the bank taking my shoes off to go get him when 3 kids came by. Sherlock can't pass up a kid and he got so excited I guess he forgot he was scared and ran out of the water. Bless those kids for coming along and especially that they didn't mind a 7 month MUDDY and WET dog jumping all over them.

LMAO! I am sitting here getting ready to leave work (to take our fur baby to the vet to get her stitches removed from getting spayed) and I read this post. I started laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes! No joke.
