I vote colorado too. its smack in the middle of everything and has lots of good places to camp....and about the VW's ....im saving to get a Jetta..a green one...(my fave car) lets hope it happens.

Ok, this can be fun. This will be some long planning since everyone has different schedules. There is no rush. Midwest would be fun. Everyone just keep posting different ideas and plans till something becomes solid.

Well, over the weekend the national average price for regular unleaded gas fell $0.04. It's just a shame that my car requires 93 Octane to perform properly.

A real bummer that I can't fit a side-car to my motorcycle for my puppy. I think she'd get too scared.

Great idea!!! I would love to meet all of the boxers and families face to face. Colorado would be a good place for me I will keep watching for solid plans. Need a roadtrip anyways and what a perfect reason for one!

Okay, so let's put something in place. I've seen a few up for Colorado and I guess you eastern folks need to pick a place hehehehe. Let's do it in July, like the 16th - if we don't throw a date out there it won't happen so there you go, make arguments for or against it hehehe.

There are some good dog parks in Colorado, I'm partial to the one near me in Castle Rock ("Fairgrounds Regional Park"), but there's a HUGE one (5 acres) at I-25 & Surrey Ridge (just South of Lincoln & I-25) - "Glendale Farm open Space". I haven't been to this one but I drive by it everyday and could scope it out, wow 5 fenced in acres for boxers to roam free on woohoo.

I don't know if anybody has metioned but MN has some pretty big dog parks, lots of tall grass a ponds ect 30 or more acres all fenced in...just an idea

July 16th sounds good to me. Plenty of time to get it off of work. And it is a weekend that is even better. Hopefully we can figure out a place by then. Can't wait!!!
