OK :D I have Sydney down for 2:30-2:45 (I totally didn't make the connection earlier hahaha, duhhh...we can't wait to see how much she has grown, Chralie is about 50 lbs now & growing like crazy)

so funny I totally remember Luke from the website I think! ( I am new to volunteering for BRLA) Very cool. I can't wait to meet you two!!! Sounds like a great pair!

Actually Luke was originally "Pippin" when he was on the website for BRLA. We got him in April at the Orange County Pet Expo. He was only about 10 months old at that time. He is white and deaf, it has been quite the experience
. We love him dearly, but he has the worst seperation anxiety ever! Anyway, we can't wait to meet you!

Did Pippin have a jester looking scarf on him in his picture? I love Deaf White boxers, we plan on adopting one once we have a place big enough to have 2 boxers...2 years or so. I am fluent in sign language (I am an interpreter for the deaf) and think that it is wonderful that you adopted him. I am going to see if I can help train the Deaf boxers at BRLA once I am closer. This weekend I am moving to Sherman Oaks (so if I don't respond it's becasue I have to set up my computer again). I just love moving (haha yeah right).

I'm not sure if he had a jester scarf or not. He is great, but quite a challenge as he is sooo clingy. My friends all laugh at me because he has to go to doggy day care when I have meetings outside the home due to his seperation anxiety, and I have to hire a doggy sitter at night when me and DH go out (which is not too often since we had him). We are working on this and hopefully it will get better.
I also have a three year old female, Chloe, but will not be bringing her to the event because she is very skiddish and afraid of her own shadow. Big events are just not fun for her:(
DH keeps asking me when I will get a "normal" boxer....is there such a thing? Good luck with your move, I look forward to meeting you!

Awe, he sounds great! I am jealous, I want two but only have room for one. In the future I will get another though, it is a guarantee! hehe.

Oh & we have more raffle drawings prizes besides the winner taking 50% of what ever raffle $$ is raised, clipper tickets, scrapbooking gift basket, 40lb bad of dry food, and more to come...we are getting more and more donations everyday. (thanks to Jake's mom Brenda who is heading this event).

The funds raised will be helping a 1 year old female flashy fawn boxer named October, that is currently being fostered through BRLA in Orange County. She was hit by a car about 4 months ago, and needs a second surgery. She will be there in the morning taking photos with her foster mom & foster fur brother, Jake.

wish we were still in Belmont Shore! T-Rex came from Ursula when she was the BRLA in December 1994. He used to love going to Huntington Beach. Sounds like fun.
