Kigger

Boxer Pal
Jack is fed 3 times a day. Between 5-30 and 6:00 every morning he wakes up acting crazy. We let him out and he still isn't normal. He is great after we get out of bed and feed him. WE are trying not to get him used to eating at this time. Should i feed him more during the day. Later at night or what. I would love a suggestion. I am a very tired person during the day because of this. Thanks

Scrapper's Mom

Boxer Insane
Jack is just a baby still, barely 2 months old :) He probably needs something in that little tummy to take away the empty feeling when he wakes up. Whatever he is doing now will probably not be his adult habit. Scrapper used to wake us up really early in the AM, 4:30 or 5 everyday, to go out of his crate (you'd hear just one bark in the other room) and pee. After that I would feed him a little, and come over and lie on the couch with him and watch Animal Planet until I felt more awake. They need several small feedings periodically throughout the day until they get larger because their tummies are small and empty out quickly. Don't expect too much at this age.
