I ran across this and thought I had to share this

How to Take a Picture of Your New Puppy ...

1. Remove film from box and load camera.

2. Remove film box from puppy's mouth and throw in trash.

3. Remove puppy from trash and brush coffee grounds from muzzle.

4. Choose a suitable background for photo.

5. Mount camera on tripod and focus.

6. Find puppy and take dirty sock from mouth.

7. Place puppy in pre-focused spot and return to camera.

8. Forget about spot and crawl after puppy on knees.

9. Focus with one hand and fend off puppy with other hand.

10. Get tissue and clean nose print from lens.

11. Put cat outside and put peroxide on the scratch on puppy's nose.

13. Put magazines back on coffee table.

14. Try to get puppy's attention by squeaking toy over your head.

15. Replace your glasses and check camera for damage.

16. Jump up in time to grab puppy by scruff of neck and say, "No, outside! No, outside!"

17. Clean up mess.

18. Sit back in chair with lemonade and resolve to teach puppy "sit" and "stay" the first thing in the morning.

.... and take 342 pictures of puppy looking away at the last second, before getting that one perfect shot you proudly carry everywhere and flash to every family member, friend, co-worker, retail staff, waiter, hairdresser, dentist, or random stranger who looks even slightly interested.....

I know exactly what your talking about with the picture thing! I do the same thing. I really think my co-workers think I'm crazy. Especially when I told them I'm taking Aasha to get his picture with Santa. It's nice to know BW undertands! :)

I also have co-workers whose eyes glaze over when I show them the latest photo of Waldo, until someone else at my work is owned by a Boxer, they'll never understand:(
Just as well I have everyone here to chat to:)

Lol

That was just the funniest thing and OH how true. I keep looking over our pictures and its hard to find one of her sitting still. I was even foolish enough to try and take one with a Santa Hat. It went Realllllly well! I have to talk to myself and promise myself that I won't show complete strangers thier pictures.Glad I am not the only boxer crazy person though.

I still have issues trying to get Addie's picture. Now if only I can find a Santa brave enough to hold onto 2, 11 month old boxers on leashes long enough for a picture! Ive learned the hard way this week....my two dont like santa!

That is so true. I want to put pictures of Sydney on BW but cant get her to stay still long enough. I guess someone will just have to hold her. They sure move fast.
