At about 9 weeks, my wife and took Charlie to a warm water lake close to us. Amber and I both waded into the lake about 8 feet apart with one of us holding her. I would lower her into the water assuring her the whole time that everything was alright. I the would point her in the direction of Amber who would be calling her and push her over to Amber. We would do this over and over until Charlie was comfortable with the water environment.
Charlie is now 19 months and we can't keep her out of the water, she will just swim around for hours for no reason.
