Caney Creek

Boxer Insane
Caney was quite an annoying puppy to our 6yr old boxer Creek (7 now), but she learned quickly not to get too close to Creek! Of course, Caney still LOVES to aggravate her, barking and bouncing around :p but it's never gotten to the point where she HURTS Creek without any repercussion... Creek is a grumpy girl, and doesn't hesitate to tell the little one off!

Is your pup very mouthy when he plays with you or other humans? Maybe you might want to work with him more on bite inhibition, in hopes that he'll make the connection not to bite ANYONE! Or he could possibly just need some more exercise so he doesn't feel the need to harass Erin with all his pent-up puppy energy. My Caney is only a few months older than Tyson, and she gets herself into all kinds of trouble when she hasn't been worn out!

Nope, he is VERY gentle with us NEVER bites or even mouths us, takes treats very gently, very gentle with my 6 year old son (they go out in the back and play frequently), and he and Erin ENJOY playing, Erin enjoys it as well and it's good for her to get minimal exercise, and he doesn't do it to any other dog (I foster and pet sit so I have dogs in and out of here frequently), it's just her. More exercise isn't an option and really in every other respect he's very good so he doesn't act like he needs additional exercise. He doesn't dig, tear anything up, doesn't "counter surf" doesn't eat cat litter or cat food, doesn't potty in the house, doesn't get on furniture (a no no in our home), doesn't bark unless there's something to bark about, doesn't jump on people, he's very very good in every other respect. And even when he's pulling on her face it's mutual she WANTS to play, they run around together for a bit around 5:00 or 6:00 outside almost everyday, and they play a couple of times during the day in the house, he's just pulling on her face too hard, and I don't know maybe she doesn't "say" anything because it doesn't hurt her or bother her, but apparently it bothers her skin whether it bothers her or not.

Oh I forgot to tell you that your dog and I have the same first name! Erin!

LoL. Is that good or bad? LoL. Actually, we didn't name her, the rescue we got her from did and we couldn't think of anything better, and she answered to it (she was in rescue for 6 months or so) so we just kept it.
