How to find a good vet in MA

hey, trying to get in touch with a vet. in my local area... do any of you in the MA area (near framingham) know of a good vet, or take your furbaby to anyone in the area..??

We loved our vet before we moved but they were in Shrewsbury. That too far for you?

I can recommend a get vet in Franklin MA

Wellesley Animal Hopistal- there are two woman vets- Hartman and Gerlich(sp?). We normally see Gerlich (i know it's awful i cant spell my vets name!) and both my husband and I really like her. Some of the vet techs also board pets and we chose a person from there to board cassius when we go away and he has a great time. The hospital in general is very receptive to just calling and answering questions to. It's off of Route 9, the number is (781) 237-0066.

Shrewsbury and Franklin are both close enough... do either of you have any names? i saw a vet in the yellow pages in Shrewsbury... hmmm... i think her name was Leslie something... let me know if you get a chance! thank you all so much!

Nicole Freeman was Gracie's doc before we moved. We would have never changed, she was excellent. Gracie had some problems when we adopted her and needed some procedures done. Tell her Gracie sent you if you decide to go there

I never used the hotel/spa downstairs but I have heard it is really nice.

Yeah thank you sooo much.. i actually called a kennel..(fyi: Gibson Kennels in Grafton if you have heard of it?) and they said they take their dogs there too.. took a look a the website sounds great!! thanks!

Yes, I know of Gibson. I have neard nothing bad about them, all good stuff. They are a bit expensive but the facilities seem much better than most places I have seen.

We live in North Carolina now, so that would be a long ride to bring the princess

OH i am soo jealous... NC is my dream place.. i am from Tennesse and went to Clemson University in South Carolina, always said i wanted to end up in the NC/VA area... hmm how did i end up in MA (where it is freezing cold!!) i do like it though...even though it snowed 4 inches the other day. Thanks for all of your help!

It is nice here. The only downside is that we have started helping the local Boxer Rescue and got introduced to the dog fighting problem. I knew is existed but now it is a little to close to home.
