How the Boxer got his nose.
Not sure if this is the right forum for this,but it seems I have known this story forever,I don't know where it came from and if it appears somewhere else on BW,I apologise
When God created dogs,he practised and practised making Poodles,Terriers,Labradors and many more until one day he made the perfect dog,the Boxer.It had all the best qualities of the other dogs and none of the weaknesses,However,He made the mistake of telling the Boxer this,so,with all his natural curiosity and recklessness,the Boxer raced to the nearest mirror to see how good he looked and,as usual,he couldn't stop in time and crashed into the mirror squashing his nose.He went running back to God and asked Him to fix it.God smiled and said" Most faithful and honest of dogs,you are indeed the finest of your species,but for your vanity you must bear your appearance forever"So,the Boxer accepted God's word and that is why as he prances along,he lifts his handsome face in the air for all to see,proud of what God gave him.

Very cute story!!

It does seem to be true. Boxers do carry themselves as though they honestly believe that they are the best (I couldn't agree more!!). They definitely seem to be very proud of who and what they are.
